Brightly List Of Summer Reading For Growing Readers 6 to 8

I kind of like Brightly, well written and well informed, they tend to have some recommendations that I don’t normally find elsewhere or have maybe looked over. Trying to find good recommendations to pad in my kids summer reading list. My youngest is 8 and reads very well, so I’m kind of not expecting much out of these recommendations. I do still like the Step In To Reading books, although there are way too many of them. Probably one of my favorite recommendations from here is “What’s Inside A Birds Nest” by Rachel Ignotofsky, very fun book for kids, beautiful illustrations, excellent writing. By the way, love her instagram. The Best Worst Camp Out Ever is a good one too, fun book, it’s also a good introduction to comic style books, which seems to be what kids read these days as next level 8 years and above.
